What we do
Based in Ripon, North Yorkshire, we offer beginners sewing classes throughout North Yorkshire, with a wellbeing focus. Our mission is to ignite creativity and a passion for sewing in every individual, fostering a community dedicated to making, mending, and skill sharing.
For those who prefer personalised instruction, we provide a one to-one sewing service tailored to your individual needs and goals, ensuring you maximise your teaching time. As a DBS checked practitioner, I can offer these services to both adults and children.
We also love to engage with groups and collaborate on projects. So if you're a school, community group, or committee with a creative project in mind, or if you're interested in our sewing workshops, please get in touch.
Our Sewing Classes
We love bringing students together in a small, safe, and friendly environment whilst teaching them new skills through our beginners sewing classes. With classes limited to just 6 students, we ensure ample one-to-one sewing service, allowing for plenty of personalised tuition time and opportunities to connect with other like-minded individuals.
There is nothing more satisfying for us than witnessing the boost in confidence from when students arrive to when they leave, seeing how proud they feel of their accomplishments in class. Being able to create something from scratch that you’ve made by yourself is so fulfilling, and that’s what our sewing workshops are all about!
